The event featured writer, Sybil MacBeth, author of Praying in Color, who spoke of how anyone could pray creatively, regardless of artistic talent or age. A nurse, she was taking care of two babies in a neonatal intensive care unit. Foodstock 2014 Exceeds Goal of 300,000 Meals

By Ansley Brackin Communications Specialist of The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church Dunwoody UMC held its third food packaging event with Stop Hunger Now on Saturday, August 16. Named "Foodstock 2014," the event had a goal of packaging 300,000 meals -- a goal the church exceeded with 303,224 meals by 6 p.m. Dunwoody has now packaged a grand totally of 1,004,942 meals with Stop Hunger Now since October 2010 where their first event brought in about 30,000 meals.
